Toronto city-run golf courses set to open Saturday

Tee-off start times will vary throughout the season as daylight hours increase. Start times are staggered 10 minutes apart throughout the day from dawn to dusk.

For managing all five golf courses, the city has partnered with Thistle Golf Ltd. to manage play, pro shops and food and beverage services, the city said in a press release.

The city urges golfers to book tee times up to seven days in advance. Rentals are available at the pro shop at each location. However, an accessible golf cart is only available at Humber Valley. The accessible golf cart can be requested while booking a tee time and is available at no cost, the city said.

The city reported that in the 2023 golf season, over rounds were played — a “record high.” The 2023 number was 15,000 more than the rounds played in 2022, the city said.
